The 'Only Way is Essex' star has admitted she's never in a very good mood when she wakes up and prefers to do most of her tasks - including working out - in the early evening.

Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, she said: "I'm more of an evening person. I'm not a very good morning person.

"I would just go to the gym grumpy and moaning if I had to go there in the morning. I'm more of like an evening person because I like going to the gym with my friends after work."

And, although she might leave her workout to the nighttime, the blonde beauty, 25, makes sure she follows a healthy diet from the moment she climbs out of bed in the morning.

She explained: "I do have a healthy diet but I'm not like regimented and really strict. I naturally quite like eating healthily. I don't enjoy junk food."

But when Lydia does over-indulge from time-to-time, she finds the best way to drop the pounds is to do some zumba.

She said: "We absolutely love zumba. We've been doing for like a year now. It's something me and my mum [Debbie Douglas] do together and it's just a great way to get fit, socialise, hang out together and just have fun."

Lydia and Debbie are ambassadors for the official 'Zumba' DVD, out now and on Digital HD through Universal Pictures.
