Love Island will be seeing two new arrivals walking into the villa on Sunday night’s (June 17) show, with Zara McDermott ready to take on the challenge of finding her significant other. So what does she look for in a guy?

“Being considerate and nice,” is something Zara wants, “but not too nice. I need to be kept on my toes. They need to have some mystery about them. I like doing something fun on a first date – an activity, like go karting.”
When it comes to being turned off, she says “frugal” guys annoy her, and she “wouldn’t want someone stingy.” She adds: “I’m quite generous and I’m not like that. I have a serious side to me so if I was with someone who was also serious it would probably bring out the worst in me.”
The 21-year-old works as a government advisor in the real world, and thinks that having a “different” sort of job to most of the people on the show makes her stand out amongst the crowd.
As for the other women, “it’s every girl for themselves in there,” she says. However, she doesn’t think she’ll do “anything too incriminating, or anything against girl code. I don’t want the girls in the villa to dislike me. I want to keep them on side, and be their friend.”
We’ll see how she goes, when we watch Zara enter the Love Island villa this weekend!
