A spokesperson for ITV2 series Love Island has confirmed that the show's star Zara Holland has been told about her Miss Great Britain axe by producers off camera.

Proudly speaking about her role as Miss GB throughout the series, the news is sure to ignite some big drama.
The rep for Love Island explained: "Zara was informed of the news off camera this morning. She is now back in the villa and has chosen to remain in the show."
Zara looks to have lost her Miss GB crown after getting close under the covers with fellow star Alex Bowen on the first night of knowing him.
Host Caroline Flack defended Zara, saying: "She's a very sweet girl. What even is 'Miss GB?' Are we living in the dark ages?"
Love Island will continue tonight (June 17) on ITV2 at 9pm, with the arrival of two new girls.
