It’s official: Love Island will be making its long-awaited return to ITV2 later this year, with Caroline Flack once more stepping into the role of host.
Introducing a whole batch of fresh, new Love Islanders, Caroline will continue to host new weekly live studio shows in the UK throughout the summer in a bid to give more Love Island coverage than ever before.
A panel of different celebrity guests will be joining Caroline each week, while the show will offer viewers their first look at the goings on of the villa, exclusive interviews with Islanders sent packing and a whole lot of gossip from the new series.
Meanwhile, those hoping for a relaxing holiday shouldn’t get too excited, as Caroline will be dropping into the villa throughout the series to deliver shock announcements, surprise twists and moments that will push the blossoming relationships to their limits.
Iain Stirling also returns to voice the series.
Commissioning editor for ITV Comedy and Entertainment Amanda Stavri said “Last year, Love Island became a real part of the national conversation and now, our new studio show will help feed our viewers’ appetite for more…If the twists and turns are anywhere near as fast paced as last year, it looks like Caroline and our studio guests will have plenty to talk about…”
