Lesley Joseph is set to join this year's 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The 'Birds of a Feather' star has reportedly been approached by bosses of the BBC One Ballroom and Latin show to take part in the forthcoming series.
A source said: "'Strictly...' bosses have wanted Lesley for years."
However, the 70-year-old actress - who is known for playing mature man-eater Dorien Green in the belly-laughing sitcom - is determined to master the snaky hips and quick footwork from week one in order to disguise the fact she's the third oldest ever celebrity to try their luck on the popular dancing programme.
The source explained to The Sun newspaper: "She is determined not to just be the token older contestant."
And it seems Lesley has had a change of heart over the years as she admitted just over half a decade ago that she felt too old to compete.
She said in 2010: "I would have liked to have done 'Strictly...' a few years ago, but I'm not so sure now."
Meanwhile, Lesley isn't the only one rumoured to be heading for the dance floor as Daisy Lowe, Louise Redknapp, Anastacia, presenter Laura Whitmore and Lil' Kim are also on the hit list.
And the forthcoming series looks set to be an explosive one as it will be the last time Len Goodman - who has sat on the panel for the past 12 years - will act as the show's head judge.
The 72-year-old star said recently: "This adventure began when I was 60 and now that I've reached my 70s, I've decided after this year it's time to hand the role of Head Judge to someone else."
