Joey Essex has had a meltdown during filming for his new TV show.
The former 'The Only Way is Essex' star travelled to South America to film ITV2 show 'Educating Joey Essex', but became hysterical when he realised the limited electricity in the favela where he was staying meant he couldn't use wireless internet or dry his hair.
Joey - who was filming in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, at the time - reportedly flew into a rage when realised he couldn't tweet to his 2.6 million followers or style his famous quiff.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Joey hasn't coped at all well on this trip. The scenery has blown his mind - but nothing has sent him in such a spin as the fact he couldn't get any wifi. It sounds like a joke, but he was seriously disturbed about it.
"He was freaked out, so much so he was nearly close to tears and everyone was in a bit of a panic that he might have some kind of meltdown. To be fair he hadn't eaten much and walking through the landscape can be quite punishing, but his reaction, even for Joey, was unexpected."
To make matters worse, the 23-year-old reality star was left "petrified" after a stylist at a local hair salon tried to bleach his precious locks by mistake.
The source added: "Luckily, the TV crew stepped in before the damage was too bad, but not before they got some priceless footage."
'Educating Joey Essex' airs this Sunday (22.06.14) at 9pm on ITV2.
