Jessie J thinks Rita Ora needs to be honest with her contestants on The Voice if she wants to be a good mentor.
Jessie was one of the original line-up on the BBC One series, but quit after two seasons to focus on her music career.
Speaking to BANG Showbiz Jessie was asked what her advice would be, and she explained: "Just be honest with them [the contestants]. She's been around the world and she's done a lot.
"She's worked very hard in the last few years and I know she knows how emotionally exhausting it is and how much you have to work for it.
"And just enjoy it too. Just be yourself because it's worked for her so far. And dress up because you're the only girl. You've got to be that diva. Be the woman and enjoy it."
She also admitted she had to put her career in music on the back burner to take part in The Voice.
"I think that I definitely learned my lesson. As I saw in everything in life, you only learn when you do it, especially when you're in the public eye.
"You can't test anything without doing it. And so I've learned my lesson which is why I'm no longer on the Voice while I'm releasing an album because it was very time consuming."
Jessie J's new album 'Sweet Talker' is out now, featuring latest single 'Burnin' Up'.
