The Only Way Is Essex bosses have assigned James 'Arg' Argent a minder whilst he films in Ibiza, to stop him getting lost.
He went missing in August when he was scheduled to see his agent, going to the wrong airport. Fears for his safety grew because his phone battery had run out and nobody could get in touch with him.
James 'Arg' ArgentArg eventually spoke to his mother who contacted the police to let her know he was fine, but TOWIE producers now don't want to take any chances whilst they're filming on the party island.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror, a source said: "The show's producers are worried about his welfare. He has behaved very erratically in the past few months. He was late for lots of filming during the last series and they don't want any repeat this time around, especially as it's Ibiza.
"Producers at Lime Pictures thought long and hard about whether he should even go to the party isle but they struck up the deal and now James has a guy named Mason with him all the time."
Arg previously told of how he was just as shocked as anyone to hear how 'Pray For Arg' on Twitter had trended.
"When I went and put my phone on charge and went on Twitter, all I saw was, 'Pray for Arg'. I was thinking, why are they praying for me.
"And then I phoned my mum and that was it. It was a bit embarrassing, but it's nice to know people care about me."
