James 'Arg' Argent is not going to be involved in The Only Way Is Essex's Christmas special following his suspension from the series.
He's reportedly been told that the festive edition of the ITVBe show will not include him, as producers debate whether or not he should ever be allowed to return.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Producers have told Arg he will not appear in the December one-off."
"It remains to be seen if he will be back for the next series, but he is at least sitting out the rest of this year." they added.
After initially being banned from TOWIE amid claims he'd failed a drugs test in October, he has been trying to keep spirits high by learning how to drive and keeping fit in the gym.
On Twitter earlier this week he wrote: "Be afraid, be very afraid! I'm back on the road and not giving up this time! @noelgaughan is a brave man!! (sic)"
