Nadia Forde's cancer-stricken mother has spoken out, saying she's "rooting for" her daughter to win I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!.
Berenice Paolozzi shows her support for her daughter whilst she's competing on this year's series of the reality show, despite having little to no contact with the 25-year-old in the past 18 years.
Nadia's friend Debbie O'Leary revealed that she was sent to live with her grandma at seven years old after her parents split up, but flew to London to make amends with her mother after discovering she was suffering with Lymphoma cancer.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Debbie said: "I know her mum is rooting for her but she's still very sick."
Nadia's friend has also been keeping an eye on the close relationship between Nadia and Jake Quickenden, but insists if he's serious about winning her over he's going to have to try harder.
"I don't know if there is going to be a love story to come out of it.
"Nadia is a hard girl to woo so Jake would have to work hard if he is serious.
"It is hard to tell in the jungle, you are in a confined space, a small number of people. She just doesn't let any man sweep her off her feet so it is interesting to watch.
"I think she definitely would like to get to know someone very well before starting to do anything."
