Melanie Sykes is one of the first names linked to this year's forthcoming series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!.
The television presenter is said to be getting in shape so she can appear on the reality show later this year, with producers desperate to sign her up.
The Daily Star was told by a source: "Mel will be great value. She's still sexy and will look good in a bikini in the jungle shower. She is single, too, so there's hope for a romance. Being northern, she also speaks as she finds so that will make for some interesting campfire chats."
She has recently insisted however that she has no plans to ever get married again, and so won't follow in the footsteps of Peter Andre and Katie Price.
Her recent marriage to Jack Cockings ended in January of this year, a month after she was given a police cauting for alleged common assault.
She said previously: "No, I'll never marry again. But I said that the first time, so ... [I've not been put off relationships], not a bit, because that was just one particular relationship."
"[Finding another partner] doesn't interest me at all. Now [or] ever, I don't know. I just don't want to get into that.
"I'm going out a lot more and I'm meeting lots of people so that's nice. It's just wicked! I'm free as a bird!"
