X Factor hopeful Jake Quickenden has reportedly signed up for I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! after being booted from the singing competition.
The singer is said to have been snapped up by show bosses to provide "male eye candy" for the millions of female viewers set to tune in when the reality show kicks off later in November.
A source speaking to The Sun newspaper explained: "Jake was a big hit on 'The X Factor' and not just because of his voice. He's going to be the male eye candy in the jungle and a potential love interest for some of the female stars.
"ITV usually refrains from signing up reality stars unless they're household names. But they've made a special exception for Jake."
Jake was taken through to this year's live shows by Mel B after failing to make the cut back in 2012 when he was in Nicole Scherzinger's group.
Since that time he's enjoyed work as a presenter on Chart Show TV, but is said to be keen to sign up and promote himself further in the jungle.
"Jake is hoping to get at least a modelling deal out of it." the source continued.
Meanwhile, Melanie Sykes, Gemma Collins and Gemma Merna are all said to have agreed to try their luck in the jungle this year.
