'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!' was hit by a power cut caused by flash flooding last night (15.11.15).
The new series of the hit reality show experienced a blackout during its launch after over two inches of rain fell in just three hours.
Disaster struck after executives revealed they'd already been forced to hatch "new contingency plans" because of the wet weather, which saw Susannah Constantine and Jorgie Porter's skydives into the Australian jungle delayed by four hours.
A source said: "It was a nightmare. Everyone was scrambling round trying to finish the edit, then the storms hit. The power cut out in the remote camp and they waited ages for it to come back on.
"It was far from ideal as they were already hours behind because of the skydive delays."
Despite the weather looking brighter following the jumps, storms soon hit the camp in Murwillumbah, New South Wales, with 80mph winds causing chaos for the crew.
The insider added to The Sun newspaper: "The forecast isn't good. The celebs won't just get soaked, their spirits will be dampened too."
