Carl Fogarty and Jimmy Bullard had to be rescued from a storm this week in the I'm A Celebrity jungle.
The motorbike champion and former footballer were taken to a remote part of the jungle to take part in a scary trial, but found themselves cut off from the rest of the camp when a storm hit.
Nadia Forde and Tinchy Stryder had to complete challenges to rescue the pair from the Shed of Dread, but had to turn back when helicopter pilots decided it was too dangerous to fly.
A source revealed to the Daily Star newspaper: "We didn't want to cause alarm, but there were real fears for them stuck out there alone. It could have gone horribly wrong."
The pair were rescued by specially trained wardens and returned to camp but Jimmy is said to have considered quitting the show following the traumatic experience.
The source continued: "Jimmy was talking about leaving the camp. He said he felt unsafe."
Whilst he's favourite to win the show and has now agreed to stay, bosses are convinced that this current series is cursed.
"First Gemma Collins quits, then Craig Charles has to leave and now there's this latest drama.
"What next? We've got 11 days left and now we're worried if we'll make it."
