Bobby Norris has lashed his TOWIE co-star and friend Gemma Collins with praise, calling her a "tough cookie".
The star is currently appearing in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! and was seen crying on the launch show before even entering the jungle camp.
Speaking about the incident, Bobby's said of Gemma's antics to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I am still in shock by the launch night shenanigans. Gemma is one tough cookie - usually on our holidays she is the one holding my hand on the flights.
"To see her freak out like that when they boarded the helicopter was really out of character so I can't help but worry how she is handling it."
He'll soon fly to Australia to appear on ITV2 spin-off show Get Me Out Of Here Now, and is hoping his friend will still be in the competition when he arrives.
"I hope that by the time I get to Oz she is still in the jungle and hasn't walked!
"The Gem I know is gutsy, she just needs to dig deep and find a bit of courage.
"Moving from Essex to the Oz jungle is bound to take a little while to settle in."
Meanwhile he's also revealed how he'd love to get in there himself and help Gemma's hunger pangs.
"It sounds like hunger is getting to her already - I want to parachute her in a Big Mac meal, with six nuggets on the side a strawberry milkshake and some wedges as I know she would love that!"
