Marc Bannerman will be forced to face the outside World in a couple of days as he returns home to England, after an eventful 11 days, re-named a ‘love rat’. He was the first camper to be kicked out of the Australian jungle by the public and who can blame them after his flirtatious ways with Welsh singer, Cerys, humiliating his girlfriend, Sarah Matravers in front of the millions of viewers.Over the past week we have sat biting our nails as we felt sorry for Sarah, watching her boyfriend, flirting with, cuddling and kissing Cerys Matthews. He however thought it was harmless and that they were just ‘good friends’. Marc only realised on last nights show when he sat with Ant and Dec for a live interview and watched video clips of himself back, how his and Cerys’ relationship may have been perceived to the public eye.The former EastEnders was clearly devastated to have left Cerys in the jungle and to find his eviction, and he learned that Sarah had flown back to England alone 48 hours after arriving in Oz. Marc said when he came out in his chat with Ant and Dec: “I’m in trouble aint I? I’m in trouble somewhere!”

He claimed: “Nothings going on” With regards to Cerys “we bonded really quickly” he stated.

Marc later added: “Nothing happened between us at all”

He admitted he was ‘terrified’ about the situation with his girl friend.

Marc asked Ant and Dec: “she’s here isn’t she”

Dec: “she was here, she’s gone home again”

Marc shook his head in disappointment.

Dec: “She wants to conduct with you and close doors in private”

Marc: “argh mate”

So it was clear Marc might have had regrets about his ways with Cerys. He hasn’t yet left down under, but he has a telephone conversation with Sarah, but has not yet confirmed what was said – we can only presume there was a lot of apologizing.
