After almost a week in the Australian jungle, the celebritiesâ conversations turned to the blossoming relationship of fellow campers, George and Joe.
"Joeâs really good for George, I think he keeps his spirits up, makes him [do] funny songs which are hysterical and they really get on," said Nicola. "George and Joe are lovely, itâs amazing how the two of them click," agreed Carly.
With the buddies often seen displaying affections for each other, George revealed: "I know heâs [Joe] heterosexual but heâs comfortable embracing me, kissing me."
Admitting that George is like a âgrandadâ Joe also said that he finds the fellow actor "so interesting and I could talk to him for ages heâs got this really calming influence."
As the close bond formed, George admitted that the cockney actor was his âguardian angelâ and today Joe decided to make George a walking stick out of a piece of wood he had found to help him manoeuvre better around the terrain.
With the language barrier being a source of problems for the two celebrities at the start of the week, Joe has spent time in camp teaching the Star Trek star cockney rhyming slang and songs. "They always say opposites attract," Joe admitted, "and I think Iâve got a friend there for a long time with George."
