Frankie Sandford has confirmed she'll be on this year's Strictly Come Dancing.
The 25-year-old singer announced on 'BBC Breakfast' this morning (13.08.14) that she has become the first celebrity to sign up for the upcoming 12th series of the BBC One ballroom dancing show.
Speaking on the programme, The Saturdays singer said: "I've always wanted to be a part of the show - it looks like so much fun and the costumes are just gorgeous. I can't wait to get started.
"Like so many little girls, I used to take dance lessons when I was in primary school and I really love dancing but this is going to be so different from anything I have done with The Saturdays."
A tweet on the BBC's official 'Strictly' account also confirmed the news by posting a picture of the brunette beauty.
In a message attached to the image, they wrote: "She's always brought sparkle to Saturdays so welcome @FrankieTheSats the first celebrity in our 2014 line-up! (sic)"
Frankie is not the only member of The Saturdays to have competed on 'Strictly' as her bandmate Rochelle Humes took part in a Christmas special last year and a Children In Need special in 2010.
Other stars who have been linked to the new series of the show include ex-'TOWIE' hunk Mark Wright, 'This Morning' presenter Alison Hammond, 'Monty Python' star Carol Cleveland and celebrity chef Greg Wallace.
