Davina McCall has said that the cast for the second series of The Jump is "amazing".
The reality show premiered in January of this year and follows celebrities as they attempt to master a variety of winter sports.
Hosting the programme, Davina claims that the participants this time round will be even better than the first.
Speaking at the 2014 Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women Awards in London on Wednesday, December 3, she explained: "Oh my god, I am so excited! I got a list of all the names today, I can't tell you because I was told I would be shot, but it's amazing casting. A-mazing."
The show's first series featured Amy Childs, Anthea Turner, Darren Gough and others, with singer Joe McElderry going on to win the competition.
Mike Tindall has been confirmed for the second series beginning next year, and equally high-profile stars have been teased by Davina.
"One might be worried that we've already peaked [by announcing Mike Tindall] but we haven't. He's right up there with the rest of them, that's the kind of calibre we're talking about this year, and they want to come and injure themselves, it's amazing. It's going to be amazing."
She also teased more extreme stunts, admitting her surprise when she heard which sports are going to be aired live.
"I was looking at some of the ideas for the show and I thought maybe they'd have toned it down a bit but they haven't. There is a horrific, horrific live event which will be happening live which is so scary. I looked at it today and I was like 'god no way!'"
