Claudia Winkleman could make her return to Strictly Come Dancing this weekend, after being forced to pull out of her duties when her daughter was badly burned in a Halloween accident.
A statement from Claudia and her husband Kris Thykier read: "Our daughter was involved in an accident on Friday night while celebrating Halloween. She is having the best care possible and we are hopeful of a full recovery."
After spending two weeks at eight-year-old Matilda's side, BBC bosses are hopeful that Claudia can return in time to present the special show this weekend from Blackpool's Tower Ballroom, according to the Daily Express newspaper.
The host has proved to be a huge hit alongside Tess Daly after replacing Sir Bruce Forsyth, and has had Zoe Ball step in for her during her absence.
