Brendan Cole would love to be a 'Strictly Come Dancing' judge.
The professional dancer - who was voted off the show with celebrity partner Kirsty Gallacher this weekend - insists he isn't "actively seeking" a seat on the panel, but would hope to be considered if one of the current judges decided to leave.
He said: "I'm very happy being a dancer but if there was ever a spot I'd like to think they would consider me.
"But I can't imagine any of the judges giving up their seat.
"It's not something I'm actively seeking."
Though he'd like to be a judge, the 38-year-old dancer insists their opinions and critique are "irrelevant" to him.
He said: "The judges are a very necessary part of the show, but from a professional point of view I know what my partner needs to work on next week.
"What they say tends to be irrelevant to me."
Brendan - who has two-year-old daughter Aurelia with wife Zoe - used to be known for his outspoken attitude but admits he tries not to be controversial or argue with the judges anymore because he wouldn't want his little girl to think badly of him.
He told OK! magazine: "When I was younger I was quite feisty. I would argue with the judges and speak my mind.
"I'm the first to admit I used to be a bit mouthy, but I haven't acted like that for a long time.
"Becoming a husband and father has definitely changed me and my perspective on life...
"I wouldn't say it's mellowed me but it has changed me.
"Everything I do now is for Aurelia. Often I'll go to disagree with the judges but stop myself because I don't want her looking back and saying, 'Daddy, you were a bit of a d**k.' "
