Brendan Cole has admitted he "can't imagine" his life not competing on Strictly Come Dancing.
The professional has been partnered with celebrity contestants since the show started a decade ago, and though he knows he won't be on the show forever, he's "very comfortable" with still being a part of the competition.
Speaking to Now magazine he explained: "I'm sure one day the shoes will have to be hung up, whether it's because I don't want to be there or they don't want me.
"I love 'Strictly' and it's a massive part of my life - I can't quite imagine it not being there. It's been over a quarter of my life so far. That's a big chunk of time.
"I'm very comfortable with it at the moment and hopefully they'll want me back next year."
Whilst Brendan adores the show he has no interest in being a part of the tours that come after, as he prefers to take his own productions on the road.
"I've never done [the tour] and I've never wanted to. My show is what I like doing and that's how it'll stay."
