Bobby Norris found it "hard" to film 'The Only Way Is Essex' in Marbella without Gemma Collins.
The 29-year-old star has opened up about his on/off best friend's decision to quit the reality show to admit that while it was weird not having her on holiday with him, he was able to spend more time with other members of the cast.
He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I found it really strange. Filming with her for four years it has been hard not to have her there, to share a room with her and to have my little ally. "I am really lucky, I am literally the only cast member that has a friend in everyone because, being a gay man, I don't intimidate straight blokes, so I can go and film with Pete [Wicks] all day long - absolutely love Pete one of my favourite new recruits - and film with the girls.
"So I am really lucky in that situation. I miss Gemma but absolutely love Gemma and wish her the best in everything she does. I think she is looking incredible right now."
Bobby also admitted that he enjoyed being able to stay out later on his latest trip to Spain.
He explained: "Because GC [Gemma] was one of the older ones of the firm, after one of our dinners she would want to go home and I would never let her go home alone. I'd never let a girl get in a cab on her own, be it Brentwood or Marbs. "But, now she wasn't there, I went up to the girls and was like, 'Do you know what? I am not ready to go home yet, so let's have another Daiquiri.' I think that is why friendships have formed as good as they have."
'The Only Way Is Essex' continues Sunday (11.10.15) at 10pm on ITVBe.
