'Celebrity Big Brother's former psychologist thinks Stephanie Davis and Jeremy McConnell "genuinely" fancy each other.
The axed 'Hollyoaks' actress, 22, has sparked controversy by getting up close and personal with the handsome Irish model, despite having a boyfriend, during her time in the house.
But Geoff Beattie, who has studied contestant behaviour on the show for 11 years until he left the position last year, believes the pair are actually starting to fall for one another.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, he said: "I analyse many fake relationships in 'Big Brother' where people bond for all kinds of strategic reasons because you've got someone who will support you emotionally during your time there and of course people have got into these situations because they think it will make viewers keep them in ... but Stephanie and Jeremy obviously enjoy each other's company but if you look at the signals, all the signals are exactly what you'd expect between two people who are very attracted to one another. When it comes to flirting between them, I'd say it's been genuine. In Jeremy's case there's nothing to lose but from Stephanie's point of view she has potentially a lot to lose and I don't just mean in terms of the boyfriend."
However, the 63-year-old psychologist doesn't think their romance would have blossomed as far if they weren't cooped up inside the house on the reality TV show.
And that news will most likely go down well with Stephanie's boyfriend Sam Reece after he hinted he'd dumped her following her recent flirty antics on screen.
Meanwhile, Geoff is currently working with Barclays Blue Rewards, encouraging Brits to get over their fears of deals, and take advantage of the great offers available to them.
