The former 'Hollyoaks' actress called time on her short-lived romance with the Irish hunk after he vanished for an entire day following a personal appearance at a nightclub in Scotland.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "She couldn't get hold of him for 24 hours and was really worried, especially with the recent rumours he cheated on her after a night out.
"He was at a personal appearance in Fife at Kitty's nightclub and she panicked when she couldn't reach him."
The couple sparked rumours their whirlwind romance had come crashing down over the weekend when they cancelled a joint appearance on 'Loose Women' and deleted one another from their social networking sites.
An insider explained to the MailOnline: "They've had a row and things have got pretty bad so they unfollowed each other after deciding it is over. They were supposed to be going on 'Loose Women' together to talk about their romance but they've had to shelve that for now."
Meanwhile, the split no doubt came as a shock to friends and family as just one day prior to their alleged split, Jeremy, 25, had splashed out on a diamond ring for the brunette beauty.
Not only that, the handsome model has made no secret of the fact he'd like to make an honest woman of the 22-year-old star after they admitted they were house-hunting together.
The couple struck up a romance in the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house last month while Stephanie was in a relationship with Sam Reece but, despite their flirtatious antics sparking controversy in the infamous abode, the pair insisted their love was the real deal.
