'Celebrity Big Brother' star Sam Faiers required emergency treatment yesterday after her face began to swell.
The 'Only Way is Essex' beauty was treated after her face began to balloon, with gunk pouring out of her nose, making her look like an 'alien'.
A show source told the Daily Star newspaper: "The poor girl looked like something from a horror movie, like an alien.
"She is so used to looking sexy and glam that she was really shaken up, and so were the other housemates."
It was first thought that the 24-year-old stunner would need to go to hospital, but it is now believed she was suffering from an allergic reaction.
Sam was given a dose of medication and was monitored for a while before being allowed back into the house, but a medical team is currently on stand-by in case the allergy flares up again.
When the blonde beauty returned to the main house, she told her fellow contestants how frightened she was by the mystery illness.
She said: "This has come from my nose and spread into my face. They've given me a dressing too."
Sam - who has also suffered with an upset stomach during her time on the show - is up for eviction this week alongside Jim Davidson and Liz Jones.
