Celebrity Big Brother bosses are reportedly "desperate" and hoping to sign up Patsy Kensit for January's series of the show.
Producers are trying to secure a deal with the star and are alleged to have offered the actress a substantial pay packet.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper a source explained: "The CBB producers are convinced Patsy will make great TV and are desperate to secure her."
However Patsy's revealed in the past that she'd be unwilling to participate in any reality television shows, other than Strictly Come Dancing, because she's a huge fan of the BBC One dancing competition.
Meanwhile, Katie Hopkins is another star on the bosses' wishlist, reportedly offered a record high fee to appear.
The television personality made her name on The Apprentice and is said to have been offered more than the £400,000 given to Kellie Maloney earlier this year.
A source revealed: "Undoubtedly she will clash with some of the other housemates and generate loads of publicity for the show.
"She has been approached previously, but it looks like a deal has been reached this time."
