The 'Strictly Come Dancing' professional stunned her 'Celebrity Big Brother' housemates earlier this evening (07.01.15) when she announced that she and boyfriend Ben Cohen - who has twin daughters Harriette and Isabelle, seven, with estranged wife Abigail - are expecting their first child together.
She told the group: "There was something [that] happened in my life before I came into the house over Christmas ... and obviously I thought it's very private news, you know but because we are living as one family now and everybody is sort of supporting one another now, it happened to be that I found that my boyfriend and I are going to have a little one."
Kristina was then congratulated and hugged by her housemates, prompting her to become tearful.
She added: "Well I found out over Christmas. Thank you guys, I just didn't know how to break it, what to say, when to say, it played on my mind and I wanted everyone to hear."
Asked by Stephanie Davis how far along in her pregnancy she was, she said she is "almost three months".
A spokesperson for the 38-year-old Russian said the couple were "surprised and delighted" by the news.
The representative said: "Kristina and Ben were surprised and delighted to find out that she was pregnant shortly before she entered the Big Brother house. Kristina is well and looking forward to being a mum."
