Jonathan Cheban sees Gemma Collins as a "best friend."

The 41-year-old PR guru is pleased him and the former 'The Only Way is Essex' star developed such a strong bond when they were in the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house and he doesn't understand why people are so shocked by their friendship.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, he said: "From day one, I just clicked with her and I knew we were going to be laughing the whole time. I think she's hysterical.
"I didn't realise it was such a big deal until I got out. It was like hanging out with one of my best friends in there but you forget and it turned into such a big thing."
And, although he resides in the US, the reality TV star is adamant he'll stay in touch with the bubbly blonde and he'll most definitely enjoy a night out with her in her native Essex.
He told new! magazine: "Gemma is great. I had a great time with her. She's a funny girl ... When I come to the UK, I will definitely call Gemma and visit Essex and hit the town there."
Jonathan, who is best friends with reality TV queen Kim Kardashian West, spent a week inside the infamous house but decided to walk out because he felt "claustrophobic."
