Celebrity Big Brother 2017 is certainly off to a rocky start, with housemates falling out all over the place and, in tonight’s episode, Jasmine Waltz going so far as to fry her microphone in a pan after receiving three negative tweets from the viewing audience.
Giving the mic a little saute before rubbing the grease onto her clothes because it’s “good for the body”, Jasmine is later called to the Diary Room and is reprimanded by Big Brother for causing damage to the microphone.
James Jordan jokes in the bedroom during the incident with other housemates, reminding them that after Jasmine received the negative news, she wanted to see a change. He laughed: “Half an hour ago she was in the garden saying, ‘I wanted to change people’s perception of me!’”
Jasmine had in fact said that in the garden during a chat with Austin, adding: “That’s not the image I want to portray! I signed up to this for a voice to inspire…”
Elsewhere in tonight’s show, Spencer Pratt and Austin Armacost lock horns when Austin tells a story to Nicola McLean that he alleges took place at a party in Los Angeles with his ex-boyfriend Marc Jacobs.
Stating this was the first time he met Spencer and Heidi Montag, he says: “We’re outside smoking and Heidi came over to Marc, and was like ‘I love you and I think you’re amazing!’ She didn’t even acknowledge me, and she walked away and I said ‘Oh and my name is Austin b*tch!’ And then Spencer heard me call her a b*tch and came over…”
Spencer then interjects and claims: “This never happened! This manifested in your brain. Happened in your mind! It’s a made-up story,” before adding to Austin: “I’m back to f*cking hating you!”
Celebrity Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on Channel 5, with a live eviction, shock twist and three new celebrity housemates.
