David McIntosh allegedly claims he's "too famous" to compete on reality TV.
The ex-'Gladiators' star, better known as Tornado, is a hot contender for the next series of 'Celebrity Big Brother', but doesn't think the UK is "his target market" and reportedly wants to focus on becoming a TV presenter, model and fitness expert in the US and Australia.
The muscleman has seen his profile sky-rocket since getting engaged to model Kelly Brook last month following a whirlwind 12-week romance, and it seems he is keen to capitalise on it as soon as possible.
An insider disclosed to The Sun newspaper: "David is on every reality show's wishlist right now, but Channel 5 have been most persistent.
"They think he'd be hilarious on the show and a talking point as everyone wants to know what he's really like and how he snared Kelly.
"But basically, David's attitude is that he is too famous for a show like 'CBB'."
The 27-year-old star was reported to be planning a documentary-style reality show of his own with his bride-to-be that would track the preparations for their big day.
A source said: "It's early days but Kelly and David have started talks about some sort of series that will be filmed in the build-up to their wedding.
"They both think it could make a funny, entertaining show and could also pocket them a few quid."
