"I wish that would be me in however many years" he gushed, before breaking down into tears.
Talking about the past few days, and their win in one of the immunity challenges, he said "I've never worked as hard as that in my entire life", fighting through tears and raw emotion.
He then divulged that he'd like to celebrate being immune from the first eviction by drinking a glass of red wine by Lionel's side.
Could this be one of the most unlikely friendships in Big Brother history?
