Celebrity Big Brother will be returning with an all-female cast launch show in the New Year, and it turns out fans won’t have to wait very long at all, as the series will be making its comeback on January 2, 2018 at 9pm on Channel 5. The network also revealed the sleek new Big Brother eye design for the series, which you can check out below:
Earlier this month, Channel 5 revealed that the Emma Willis-fronted new season of Celebrity Big Brother will mark 100 years since women won the vote in the United Kingdom, by sending a whole bunch of female-only housemates into the infamous compound on launch night.
Promising women from all different walks of life, the show could turn out to be one of the most interesting the reality experiment has ever brought to fans.
It won’t be women all series however, as some male housemates will be joining in with the chaos at some point down the line. Channel 5 say that hidden experiments and tasks will challenge the housemates like never before, as well as pushing viewers to question gender stereotypes and the modern world impact on both women and men.
It may not feel like it was a long time since Sarah Harding took home the CBB crown and a cash prize for a charity of her choosing, but television is about to get a whole lot more exciting in under a month’s time, and we can’t wait to check in on all of the action and famous faces!
