A total of five days have been added on to the length of this series of Celebrity Big Brother, after ratings are impressing Channel 5 bosses and show producers.

Due to 'developing editorial' and an added eviction show on Sunday January 26, the Celebrity Big Brother finale is now scheduled to take place on Wednesday, January 29.

This means that this will be the longest series of Celebrity Big Brother ever, on-par with Celebrity Big Brother 7 - Channel 4's last.

It's hard to see that the show will be cancelled following this series, because its success has been so prominent and viewers are getting more excited than ever before.

Celebrity Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on Channel 5 with a live eviction scheduled for tomorrow night.
