Returning to the small screen tonight for what Channel 5 is calling The United Kingdom of Big Brother, the infamous reality show will bring a mixture of solo housemates and pairs to the Big Brother house, inviting them to compete in one of the most unpredictable televised popularity contests of the year. Ahead of the premiere, this year’s Diary Room Chair has been revealed, which you can see below:

In addition, Channel 5 have also announced their launch show twist; for the first time ever, Big Brother will allow the viewing public to choose who gets the final housemate position, as a selection of those who auditioned will put their case forward to make it into the house.
The candidate that gets the most votes will become The People’s Housemate; somebody with great power in the house who will even gain limited access to the outside world. No more information has been given, but we imagine tonight is going to be VERY interesting…
