Big Brother: Timebomb is getting futuristic this week with its shopping task, transporting housemates to the year 2050 and introducing them to Big Bot - the super computer who will lead them over the next two days through a series of "experiments" to see how well they've adapted to the future.

Those who are successful in their experiments will earn the group more time in The Time Machine Room. The Time Machine Room is where housemates will have the opportunity to be transported back to the present day and win a luxury shopping budget.

In Big Bot's world, gender is a thing of the past and everybody has to wear the same clothes and keep the same hairstyle. Makeup must be kept to a minimum, and anyone who deviates from these rules or uses contraband items will be punished.

Online, Big Brother has promised that a lot of the tasks in the current shopping challenge will see housemates eat "various repulsive substances".

Big Bot is able to summon housemates for tasks or punishments throughout the shopping task, and a poll has been launched to see who viewers would like to see rewarded, and who they'd like to see punished.

Big Brother: Timebomb continues daily on Channel 5.
