As the news that Big Brother UK would continue on Channel 5 for the foreseeable future and until at least 2018 came, we asked Female First readers to tell us whether or not they still watched the reality series.

A huge 49% of respondees said that they're still "avid watchers" of the Emma Willis fronted show, with 33% not watching "at all" and 18% watching "from time to time".

With 67% of those asked still tuning into the series - be it on a regular basis or every so often - it's clear that the show is still a winner when it comes to gaining viewership.

The latest Celebrity Big Brother series saw the show gain the highest rating for a highlights episode since its move to Channel 5, and some of its best performances on a weekend since August 2011.

Meanwhile, it was recently reported that Eamonn Holmes has been banned from competing in this summer's celebrity version of the show, because wife Ruth Langsford doesn't want the nation to see him in his underwear.

It's also been claimed that Janice Dickinson is set to enter the house after signing a deal worth £300,000.

Big Brother returns this May with a new civilian series ahead of the fresh batch of celebrities entering the house shortly after.
