NOTE: Spoilers
Big Brother Canada kicked things off with a bang this season, as fourteen houseguests were introduced to the world as the second group of contestants in Big Brother Canada history.
Unbeknown to them however was the secret room, which was to house three further houseguests. Only one of these will be given the priveledge of going into the main house as a fully fledged contender for this year's title, and it is Canada who will make that decision by voting online, once per day.
The three to be chosen between are:
Allison White, 25 from Lewisporte, NL
She doesn't have faith she'll be able to do it like her Big Brother idol Dan Gheesling, but she is hoping to give it a good shot. Fearing the mental challenges, she hopes she can blend in and make people like her. "I'm not going to be too weird off the bat. I can get pretty weird, but I will wait until they love me first." She's in the house for the challenge and has been a fan of the show for years.
Nate Sandri, 23 from Burnaby, BC
Hoping to link up with the oldest person in the house because he feels "like people trust older people", he admits to just rolling with the punches, and will be happy to get in the house so he doesn't "have to watch TV all the time." Nate's hoping to become a fully fledged houseguest so he has a shot at the money. "I'm going to go all the way." he says.
Scott Bosse, 36 from St. John, New Brunswick
By day he's a medical secretary, but he has a career as an event producer, make-up artist and drag performer on the side. He's a massive fan of BBUS6, 7 and 14's Janelle, and wants to get on the show for the money and the title. "I was always meant to be on TV and stared at and looked at and loved and hated."
Fans of the show can now cast one vote per day for who they want to enter the house at BigBrotherCanada.ca. A string of actions on the online Big Brother Canada community can see them earn points that increases their vote's influence, and can change the game.
The 14 current houseguests will come face to face with their house's new resident on Thursday, March 13 during the season's second eviction show.
During last night's premiere, the houseguests got right into it with their first Head of Household challenge of the series. A controversial deal was struck between contestants which meant that Paul Jackson has all the power in the show's first week, but who will he put on the block, and will he keep his promise to keep Neda, Kyle, Kenny, Jon, Rachelle and Adel off the block?
This season, houseguests are competing for a grand prize of $100,000, a $25,000 gift card from The Brick, and a $10,000 trip of a lifetime courtesy of Twistos. The first live eviction airs tonight at 9pm ET/PT on Slice™ followed by the first-ever Big Brother Canada Side Show.
Big Brother Canada airs three nights a week on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays at 9pm ET/PT on Slice™. The Big Brother Canada Side Show airs Thursdays at 10pm ET/PT. Big Brother Canada After Dark airs seven days a week from 2am – 5am ET/11pm – 2am PT.
