The first eviction episode of the new season of Big Brother Canada has taken place, and saw Paige Distranski from Thunder Bay, ON evicted after she was put up on the block against Kelsey by Head of Household Loveita.
Despite Loveita's plans to make a big move, Nick won the Power of Veto competition ensuring he and his brother Phil were safe, which meant the nominees were kept the same and Paige was sent packing in a vote that ended 7-4.
Speaking after her eviction, Paige said: "I think I didn't talk to enough people the first night and I didn't make too many personal connections with everyone. And I think that first night really, really wrecked my game."
An exciting twist also took place on the show, as host Arisa Cox told the world just which two international houseguests would be entering the game.
The UK's Nikki Grahame and Australia's Tim Dormer were picked by the public to play, with Jase Wirey from Big Brother US and Veronica Graf from Big Brother Italy falling short.
Arisa also told the two new houseguests that they would receive a week's immunity, meaning they cannot be nominated or evicted.
Big Brother Canada continues with the next Head of Household competition on Sunday, at 7pm ET/PT on Global.
