Following the news this morning that David Bowie has died aged 69, following an 18-month battle with cancer, his ex-wife Angie Bowie has been told the news by her representatives, off-camera in the Celebrity Big Brother house.

Earlier today, the show tweeted:
They then followed up by writing:
This means that "appropriate support" will be at hand for Angie any time she may need it, and she will be given the opportunity to walk out of the door if she ever changes her mind without any consequences to her pay.
Angie had one child with David before their divorce in 1980. Her son, Duncan Jones, does not speak to her anymore and hasn't done since he was 13, according to stories she's told whilst in the Big Brother house.
