Last night the housemates were treated to a luxury meal after passing a number of challenges set by celebrity hijacker Janet Street-Porter leading to all sorts of regrets, wishes and in-house crushes to be discussed by the housemates.
After gathering all the housemates at the dining table to give them feedback on their tasks, the told Jade and Jeremy that they had failed their task to interview her in a mock television show, saying: "I'm going to be perfectly honest... this started reasonably well with all the will in the world. But it had no structure, you allowed me to take control of the interview and dominate it, you lost control."She then moved on to Jay and John's commentating task where they had to watch running footage of the housemates and talk about what they saw for ten minutes.
Speaking of the pair, Janet said: "I'll tell you something, they didn't tell you the sneaky things they said about you that everyone at home could hear!" She then congratulated them both for having good chemistry and being interesting for most of the time before awarding them with a pass.
The deciding result was left up to the group challenge where Emilia and Victor took on Nathan and Amy in a debate. Janet told them: "I'm a good task master but you did good." She congratulated Amy and Nathan for doing especially well.
It has taken enough time for the boys to have a proper chat about who they found attractive in the house but after a lengthy chat with Amy in the bathroom this evening, Victor confided to Liam that he considered her "the most attractive bird in the house" depite revealing later that he liked "dark women" and had dated girls from all over the world.
Liam was more impressed by Emilia, gusing Shes so intelligent. I think Amy and Emilia are the most intelligent girls in the house. Everyone's intelligent but they're the most intellectual and deep people."
Meanwhile, John and Anthony were also comparing the relative merits of their female housemates in a separate chat in the garden which saw Anthony tell a baffled John that he thought Latoya was pretty, but Emilia "just doesn't really do it for me". This prompted John to ask the boxer to describe his type, who revealed that Jade was closer to the mark. "You proper like her, don't you?" teased the politician, prompting him to admit: "Yeah, a little bit."
Speaking of the beauty queen, Victor admitted that he regrets bitching about Jade in the house during a heart-to-heart with Liam. The circus performer confessed that he was not finding the experience easy but had learned a great deal.
He told the businessman that he had experienced some "controversy" with Jade but had always kept his irritation to himself because he liked her. However, he had been unable to stop himself venting his frustration on a couple of occasions when she had annoyed him.
Shy boy Liam agreed that the housemates occasionally "tread on each other's toes" and that he has failed to click with some people. "But we don't confront each other about it, we just kind of get on with it," he stated, adding that no-one wanted to create an atmosphere. The question is, how long will it be before someone speaks up?
Yesterday also saw a surprising revelation fashion-conscious Jay as he revealed that he is desperate to go under the knife. After examining himself in the mirror with Liam, Victor and Amy he told them; "I'm so gonna have plastic surgery, to fix my face."
But Liam was quick to reassure him, saying: "Your face is fine, your face is perfect" and telling him that he looked like a "really professional actor". Not pleased with that response, Jay insisted: "It's not [perfect]... the actual symmetry of my face. Saying he wanted to sort out a perceived imperfection at the top of his forehead.
When he had left the bathroom, the others agreed that he looked "good" and that such an extreme course of action was unnecessary with Liam quite sensibly pointing out that; "In this world, we all live for image, don't we? Image is supposedly everything." Before pointing out that he was unlikely to fall into the same trap himself, saying: "You know, I just see past all that now. I think... yeah, I like to look good, I like to feel good, but ultimately it's just about being happy."
