In the first eviction of these series, beauty queen Jade will battle it out against racing driver Jeremy and circus act Victor as one of them faces eviction before the week is through.After discovering she faced the public vote, the constantly happy Jade wondered what she had done to provoke the others to nominate her during a one-to-one chat with John. She declared that she was just "being herself" and did not intend to change her behaviour whatever happened. The conversation quickly turned to the the rest of the group, and they agreed that there was no "bad vibe" around Liam, Latoya, Anthony or each other. However, the pair were far less complimentary about Jeremy, Victor and Emilia, who they felt could be "difficult to talk to".It seems that Jay and Calista were both shocked that they had survived nominations this week as chatted at the smokers' bench last night. Pondering the news that Jeremy, Jade and Victor had been chosen to face the public vote, Jay said: "Jade will get through it, I hope so." However, after a moment's reflection, he added: "But you don't know what the public want, do you?" Talking about the over-the-top MENSA member, Jay agreed with Calista's assessment that Jade was: "really entertaining to watch", but said he could see why a lot of people in the outside world would not be so keen.They then mused that they had no idea how Jeremy or Victor would be viewed by the public, with Jay saying that the house would seem "so empty" without them.Day 7 also saw Russell Brand's take over as Big Brother and his stint as a celebrity hijacker not only earned him praise from several housemates but maybe even a potential suitor–if only he was gay.Whilst talking to Jade and Calista at the smokers' bench, fashion designer Jay confided that the comedian had called him "beautiful" during a one-to-one chat in the Diary Room. After Claista bemoaned the fact that she had not had an opportunity to talk to the former Big Mouth host, Jay shyly confided that he "loved" him to which an excited Jade screeched; "Get married, have babies!" Despite Jay pointing out that his new love interest was not gay she urged: "You can turn him, you've got the power!"However, Jeremy wasn't initially impressed by Brand's antics. "Russell Brand is the most loved person in Britain at the moment... and I thought he doesn't like me," he said, referring to the comedian earlier instructing him to perform a 'monkey dance' in the bathroom but in a sudden change of heart, Jeremy then told the group that Brand did manage to win him over after speaking to him in the Diary Room: "He said 'you remind me of myself at that age - you've got a lot of charisma'...” FemaleFirst Ruth Harrison
