The housemates failed this week's sardine task after giving up before the time limit set by Big Brother.They were squashed into the sardine tin for only one hour 26 minutes before all of the housemates agreed to call it a day.The hungry housemates learned they had missed out on their luxury shopping budget when they discovered the time limit Big Brother had set for the task. Hidden in a small sardine tin in the garden was the magic number, four hours and 20 minutes. The housemates had managed only one hour and 26 minutes in the tin. Three hours short! Big Brother confirmed they had failed the task and will now receive only a basic shopping budget."One hour and 26 minutes is quite a f****** achievement," said an outraged Shabnam. "Four hours? Are you having a giggle?" And that wasn't the only annoyance.

"They've locked the bathroom," complained Chanelle.

"I can't believe they've locked the bathroom," said Laura.

Desperate to wash away all the fish bits, it seems the housemates will have to wait a while for their much-needed showers.

Thank god no one has invented smelly-vision yet.
