To be fair, he didn't really stand a chance
Since yesterday morning robots have risen up and taken over the Big Brother House. For this week's shopping task housemates have been trying to take back control by taking on the robots in a series of epic Man V Machine battles.
So far, Ben, Josie and Coaimhe have battled with the robots - with Josie failing to beat her metal nemesis. This means that for the duration of the task Josie will be a robot. Corin was also caught out by the Chaser-Bot 3000 in the Garden yesterday which also means she has joined the dark side.
At just after 11.40am this morning it was Nathan's turn to face robot Titan in an explosive battle of…air bed inflating.
Titan was armed with a blow master whereas Nathan was stuck with a good, old fashioned foot pump. In the Robo Room both had to blow up their air beds in the quickest possible time.
Nathan wasn't put off by Titan's impressive stature even telling Titan, "I remember when you were nowt but a toaster", to which Titan replied with a squirt of water from his eyes.
At the end of the task it was down to Big Bro Bot to announce the winner. "Big Bro Bot deems machine victorious" the machine announced. For failing his challenge Nathan must now become a robot for the duration of the task and cannot compete in the final battle with the machines later today.
In a separate challenge Chaser-Bot 3000 returned to the Garden locking Ife out of the house as two of the pesky robots tried to run her over. As Ife gave up and sat on the floor one Chaser-Bot 300 ran into her meaning she joins Josie, Corin and Nathan as a robot for the duration of the task.
