The BBC has lost 'The Voice' to ITV.

Mark Linsey, Acting Director of BBC Television, announced in a statement on Saturday (07.11.15) that the reality TV show has been "poached" by another network.
He said: "The BBC is incredibly proud of 'The Voice' but the fifth series which starts in January will be our last. We always said we wouldn't get into a bidding war or pay inflated prices to keep the show, and it's a testament to how the BBC has built the programme up - and established it into a mainstay of the Saturday night schedule - that another broadcaster has poached it."
The announcement from the BBC comes after it was reported that ITV had acquired the rights to 'The Voice'.
The Times newspaper reported ITV- which airs 'The Voice's rival 'The X Factor' will begin airing the show in 2017.
ITV originally lost out on a bidding war for the show four years ago, when the BBC paid £20 million for the rights to 'The Voice'.
