Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour is in jeopardy after the pro dancers found out their celebrity partners are getting almost double their fee's for next year's tour.
According to the News of The World professional foot trappers are demanding more money for the show's Live Tour, which hits the road in January.
The stars are being paid £11,000 a week while the dancers who are invited to go on the tour receive £5,500.
The pay difference has caused a row in the pro camp, with one raging: "Yet again, it's one law for the celebs and another for us dancers!"
Now BBC chiefs are unable to finalise the line-up for the six-week tour while they try to resolve the pay dispute.
An unnamed dancer was quoted by the newspaper as saying "Often dancers are bigger stars than the celebs. adding "Take Ola Jordan - she is a far bigger draw than, say, Lynda Bellingham. We feel like we are being treated as second-class citizens."
But a spoksperson for the Strictly Live Tour denied that the show is in trouble saying: " There is no problem with the tour. It is absolutely going ahead as planned.
"The celebrities are chosen as the TV series progresses and we will be making further announcements regarding those who are joining the tour over the next few weeks."
Advertising for the tour is in full swing although posters and ads do not give details of who the pro dancers will be. The main celebs from this year's series including Hollyoaks' Ricky Whittle and The Bill's Ali Bastian are expected to be in the line-up once it is able to be finalised along with popular celebrities from previous series such as Kelly Brook and Mark Ramprakash.
In a surprise turn around it has also be announced that former judge Arlene Phillips is making a comeback on the tour, joining Len Goodman, Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli on the panel.
