The first couple announced as being in the bottom two was Aaron Carter and Karina Smirnoff who on Monday had both out of balance Karina's style and balance against Aaron's mad craziness and lack of posture.

Donny Osmond was never going to be in the bottom so really it was between Chuck and Louie and when Louie was cleared it had to be Chuck not Donny, and so it proved.The big guy had given it his best shot but the Ultimate Fighting Champion could not translate his skills to the ballroom.
Monday night performance earned Melissa Joan Hart the encore dance for her Charleston despite Len Goodman telling Joanna Krupa and Derek Hough their sexy Lambada would be the encore dance. Melissa got her moment as she and Mark Ballas repeated their Charleston and the honour seemed to give Melissa confidence turning in a happier relaxed performance pointing out how much she has improved.
Other things - the show centred around latin dance and the inevitable hip action so Shakira slotted in very well Accompanied by some dancing drummers in her first number, and then her hips hypnotised later when she performed Hips Don't Lie. Shakira upbeat style fitted right in this week the shows producers got the entertainment just right Shakira is the ideal singer for a dance show after all her songs are all dance related.
In between Shakira we were shown how the Argentine tango and the paso doble should be danced as the professional dancers did their stuff, a stunning performance from husband and wife team Alec Mazo and Edyta Sliwinska was faultless.
Cheese though appeared by the bucket as the celebrities' kids featured telling you to vote for their parents sickly sweet end to the show....
