Perfectly in step with Derek Hough the “Dirty Dancing” star scored a pair of “10”'s for the first time this season. though head judge Len Goodman spoilt the party by keeping his top paddle under the counter.
In an effort to make matters needlessly more complicated, Len and his band of merry men and woman decided to score each dance with two sets of scores, — one total for performance and one for technique.
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino with a desperate tango despite all these extra scores still could not raise enough points to make prizes after all bad is bad no matter how you score it. So it was not much of a surprise when he received a combined total of 28 out of 60.
But the spectacle that was Sorrentino was easily surpassed by the night’s most bizarre offering, delivered courtesy of Florence Henderson, who normally can deliver a sensible routine - the - rumba must not be her forte even Mark Ballas could not hold her routine together.
In a hands everywhere to emulate sexy the dance surpassed sexy and went into the dark corners of embarrassingly 'odd' as she writhed, rubbed and grappled her way across the dance floor.
Even the normally optimistic Carrie Ann Inaba passed the comment, “It actually got a little uncomfortable.” though I am sure she meant it got a 'lot' uncomfortable.
So acoustic week delivered two excellent performances several distinctly average performances and two ship me home immediately performances.
