Dancing On Ice kicked off in all it's sequined glory last night and we have to admit we loved it a little bit. Okay, so we did miss the last half hour because the new series of Lark Rise To Candleford started on BBC1, but other than that, we were glues to it all night.
The standouts of the night (in FF's professional opinion) were Laura Hamilton (why on EARTH was she in the bottom two) and Kerry Katona and from what we've seen of Vanilla Ice's dance, we can't wait to see what other leather-inspired stuff he's going to skate around with.
Sadly Angela Rippon and the hilarious Nadia Sawalha didn't quite live up to expectations and (quite rightly) got the chop before the show has properly begun, but I cant help but wonder if the whole show is more of a popularity contest rather than a talent show?
