Almost eight episodes into the first series of The Real Housewives of Cheshire, and there's been more drama than any of us could ever have hoped for.

With over-the-top dinner parties, self-celebratory events and major bust-ups, the ladies have proved their worth amongst the stellar cast that's formed in a number of different states across the pond (and one in Melbourne, Australia!).

Each has proven in their own way that they've been cast because of their incredible entertainment value, but when it comes to actually liking some if any of these women, where do they stand? Here's what we think...

1) Magali

From the off-set she was the outsider and underdog, instantly cast out by Dawn for allegedly trying to get free tickets to a charity event. The handling of the situation was mean-spirited and rude but Magali fought through and came out of it the other side looking like the only sane member of the cast. She's maintained her 'Real' status throughout, showing that "you better don't mess with Magali" if you're looking to walk out of an argument unscathed.

2) Tanya

It's good to see amongst these women one who isn't going to take herself and the others too seriously, and will get stuck in to anything that's thrown her way. Her book may look more like a pamphlet but she's not stupid in the sense of Lauren, where she'll say inappropriate things whilst in the company of others, and though her reaction to Dawn touching her was very OTT, she's shown throughout the first seven episodes of the series that she can make hilarious television. More than any of these women, Tanya is relatable and, most of the time, above and out of the drama.

3) Dawn

It was a tough start for Dawn but after her silly treatment of Magali back in episodes one and two, she's done a complete 180 and shown her softer, more sensitive, family-oriented side. Handling (some) situations with grace, she's also not afraid to get down and dirty during an argument, with passion exuberating from her that never quite crosses over into aggression. More power to the woman that can have a war of words without getting personal.

4) Leanne

Sometimes I love Leanne, and sometimes her sucking up to the wives she's always been friendly with seems a little high school. Screeching at Magali in the women's toilets and demanding to know about her "reputation", everything went a little overboard, and Leanne's not been able to grab my attention for being exciting or interesting ever since. Without Magali, Leanne would be stuck for a storyline, unfortunately.

5) Ampika

She's put me off ever since describing herself as a man's 'mistress', and I'm not sure if I buy the act that he's a single man who just cannot commit to a relationship. Murky waters and the rest of the cast at the time seemed to suggest that she was having a secret relationship with a man who's already involved with somebody else - but we have to take Ampika's word that he's not. Putting that aside, Ampika has been snarky and randomly aggressive with Dawn throughout the series so far, picking at little things that don't really matter and calling her selfish because she wants to have more children. Ampika needs to realise that the whole world does not revolve around her own personal needs, and that other people will still get on with their own lives despite her not finding the next step in hers.

6) Lauren

This one has absolutely no filter, and even more so than that, she's proud of it. She's even happy to admit she doesn't listen when another person is attempting to get their point across, and somebody who isn't willing to get to know someone for their differences is someone who has a whole menagerie of traits I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. Her "frozen pizza" in comparison to Dawn freezing her eggs line has been by far the most repulsive line of the series, and she should certainly educate herself on such topics before trying to get involved in a discussion about them.
